GeForce RTX 4090 Fails to Deliver Stable 60 fps in Dead Space Remake
A recent experiment conducted by the experts at DSOGaming has revealed that the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card failed to deliver stable 60 fps in the PC remake of Dead Space, even at native 4K resolution and with all settings set to maximum. The testers noted that the frame rate dropped to as low as 50 fps during certain scenes.
The biggest drop in frame rate was observed during the introductory scene on the spaceship. During normal gameplay, the frame rate was mostly above 60 fps, but it fell during dynamic scenes with many enemies or resource-intensive effects such as steam or fire.
While playing the game at these settings, the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card was reported to be running at 98-99% utilization. This may indicate that even the powerful RTX 4090 is not enough to handle the high demands of this demanding title, at least not at 4K resolution and maximum settings.
